  • Tōge – (峠, also spelled touge) is a Japanese word literally meaning “pass”. It refers to a mountain pass or any of the narrow, winding roads that can be found in and around the mountains of Japan and other geographically similar areas.

TNW (TougeNW) was my inspiration and a turning point in my life, I came to Oregon in 2009 to escape a life I once lived. I driven an 2000 Pontiac Firebird convertible at the time.

When DriftX started out I learned a whole new culture of cars and a new sport that changed my life forever. DriftX was 5 events in 2010 that took place in Hoodoo Ski Resort. An Advocated Grassroots drifting and autocross. Shortly at the end of 2010, they became more around OregonDrift and started to branch out more but all ended in 2011.

I left Central Oregon in 2011 when I was held against my will from a business partner from a career and business as Chief Technology Officer of a small computer firm  and was pushed out of Central Oregon with no where to go. I started Touge South West in inspiration of TougeNW.  As I am building a new business, I will be returning to the PNW in due time.

I wanted to bring back an old inspiration as a blogging publication for now but this was also once a community as well. I have a discord if you want to bring back the TNW community.

Who am I?
